II.1 What you get

The Generator build — your settings compiled into the GPC

What does 'generator-based' mean, and what do I actually download?

yew2K is generator-based. Your settings are compiled into the .gpc before you download it, so the file you load already carries your values. The Generator is on the Script Download page on yew.gg and is visible to owners only.

Loading the file

  1. Open Zen Studio. Zen Studio Live (browser, Chrome recommended) is the primary tool.
  2. Compiler tab → drag in the .gpcCompile.
  3. Drag the compiled script into one of the 8 memory slots.
  4. Press Play (the flash icon).
  5. Disconnect from the PC. Connect the Zen to the console. Pick the slot with the Zen's button.

When the script is loaded, the Zen's OLED shows the script name rather than the Gearhead logo. yew2K shows its own logo during a 1500 ms menu lockout at boot.

Changing values after you download

You do not need to regenerate to change a value. Every mod page on the Zen can be toggled and, where it has a millisecond value, fine-tuned from the controller. Values are saved to persistent variables on the Zen and changes save automatically. The controls are in The mod menu.

After a 2K patch

Re-run the Generator on yew.gg, load the new build, then validate timings in online MyCourt and then Rec. If the menu will not open on an old file, the build is outdated: re-download and recompile.
