How often is yew2K updated, and what do I do on patch day?

yew2K includes free weekly updates for the NBA 2K27 cycle. NBA 2K27 launched on August 26, 2026. Updates are part of the purchase, not a subscription.

Patch-day workflow

  1. Re-run the Generator on yew.gg.
  2. Load the new build on the Zen (Compiler → Compile → slot → Play).
  3. Validate timings in online MyCourt.
  4. Then validate in Rec.

Offline MyCourt timing differs from online, so test values online. yew's advice is to validate offsets in MyCourt and Rec after each patch.

Signs you are on an old build

  • The mod menu will not open (L2/LT held + Options/Menu). Re-download and recompile.
  • Values that were fine before a patch now read early or late. For every Auto-Green: early → raise the value; late → lower the value.

Early access

Owners of 2K+ get early access to new mods as they are added. The base purchase still receives the weekly updates.
